Household (CIMMYT) Survey Data
CIMMYT, part of the larger CGIAR system, aims to improve the livelihoods of impoverished populations in the developing world by increasing the productivity and sustainability of wheat and maize farming. They are solid G.E.M.S partners with joint partnerships analyzing farmer household survey data. Handling this data can be challenging as the privacy of individual farmer households is paramount.
CIMMYT has selected G.E.M.S as a primary storage, distribution and analysis platform for their farmer household data. Our teams are also working together on creating and supporting a socioeconomic ontology for the community.
